- 15th July : Kamaraj Birthday Celebrations at Ayanambakkam Government School. RCMIC provided sweets for all 740 students & President Ram was the Chief Guest.
- 18th July : Installation fo Interact Club of Ayanamabakkam Govt. School. Rtn. Muruganandam was the Chief Guest & installed the Office Bearers.
- 27th July : Installation Of Rotaract Club of Vishwahita at Cosmo Club. Breakfast mtg. Chief Guest Rtn.Om Prakash.
- 27th July : "Orientation for Green Rotaractors" by PP. Ravvishankar.

- Our club has adopted a corporation school in sector 3 where children from the lower level study and we have provided school uniform , study materials like note books, activity books , pencil etc for GIRIL CHILDREN from standard 1 to 5
- Our club has also adopted a Government higher secondary school Ayanambakkam where children from the lower level study and we have provided school uniform , study materials like note books, activity books , pencil etc for GIRIL CHILDREN from standard 1 to 5
- 10th Anniversary Celebrations of " 365 Day Meal Scheme Project "
- School Children - Elders day celebration at ‘ Aruvi Social services Organization” International Service:
- On 6th October Saturday, students from Chinmaya Vidyalaya School, Anna Nagar were visited ‘ Aruvi Social Services Organisation” an old age home in Chennai in connection with world Elders Day. They distributed fruits and biscuits among its in-mates. They enquired about their leisure and interacted with them regarding several issues. They also played Antakshari and sang songs to entertain with them. They enjoyed their company a lot. They also took quite a few photographs with them. On the whole, that was an exhilarating experience to all of the students.
- 2. School Children Industrial visit
• On 11th October Thursday, students from Chinmaya Vidyalaya school, Anna Nagar were taken on an Industrial visit to Gummudipoondi. They visited 3 factories belonging to Rotarians from our club namely M/S. Souther Auto Castings, M/S Xmold Polymers Pvt. Ltd., & M/S Western Thomson India Ltd. . They were briefed about the various manufacturing activities of the industries .. The children were given lunch after the visit by Rtn.Subbu.

- • An inter school cultural meet was sponsored by our club.
- • This competition was conducted by the in teachers of Chinmaya Vidyalaya school, Anna Nagar.
- • 6 schools participated in this one day completion.
- • 165 Students participated in the event from these schools.
- • PDG JB Kamdar inaugurated the festival & Youth Services Dist Chairman Sampath Kumar gave away the prizes in the valedictory function.
- 23rd & 24th November : RYLA School Children at Kelambakkam.
- RYLA was conducted for Chinmaya vidyalaya Students along with Students of Anna Adharsh and Balakrishna Joshi Gurukulam in association with R C of Down town at Rama Rajya" "Maha Jyothi Nilayam" Kelambakkam - Vandalur Road PDG Dr. CS Ramachandran. was the chief guest for the inaugural function of the RYLA . the inaguarl function was attended by Rotarians of Industrial city & Down Town
- Emminent speakers like Mr. Natraj IPS spoke on the duties of Police personals and also gave the tips on various activities of the department which was well received by the students .
- Shri Shankar Baba spoke about the school and the type of education provided by their institution and there was interactive session with the speakers The students were really amazed at the activities and the type of extra curricular activities provided in the campus which was well appreciated
- The students were divided into four groups and each group was allowed to choose their name and also caption for their group , The groups were given 15 – 30 minutes time to show cause their talent during the camp fire session .
- Rotaract chair Rtn Vaidyanathan gave a speech on effective communication followed by speech on memory enhancement by Rotaractor Kalazi .

- Mr.Mohan Santhanam spoke on carnatic music
- Interact chair Rtn Jagadish Krishnamurthy was the chief guest for the validity function and the children thoroughly enjoyed the camp . Totally 89 students participated in the RYLA and certificate was provided to the students for their active participation .
- Ayyanambakkam School
- RCMIC has provided the required chemicals and apparatus for carrying out the practical examination for the plus two students .
- Sponsored two school teacher’s from Ayyanambakkam School for seminar on Green Schools Training Programme organized by the district.
- Funday Trip
- A fun day trip was organized for physically challenged children from Guild of service where 38 Children’s along with their teachers were taken out for one day trip to V G P Golden beach along with the families of the Rotarians. Rotarian families were given responsibility to take care of 10 children and they would get the children what ever they wanted. The children weer picked up from Anna Nagar by the bus provided by Ashok Leyland and they were brought back in the evening.
